King of the Door MMA Fight PosterLast night at Auckland’s ASB Stadium, King of the Door fight promoters, held their second MMA fight event. All the MMA fighters involved were night club doormans and bouncers, from around New Zealand and from across the tasman as well.
What was billed as a world’s first, King of the Door had two rings going simultaneously. And due to a few dropouts, wildcards were introduced, meaning that if someone had lost in the first round, they might get a second chance at the $10,000 first prize.

At the end of the night it was the “Fob Father” Felise Leniu, who smashed his way through 4 bouncers to claim the title of “King of the Door” and the first prize cheque of $10,000.

Peter Aberdeen had a 5 round battle against Hiriwa Te Rangi, and scored a unanimous decision.

Felise Leniu beat Peter Aberdeen when he was unable to come out for the second round.

Felise Leniu beat Hale Vaasa in the final with a unanimous decision from the judges
