Is Auckland MMA better than the rest of NZ?

Well, going by the results of the three main event fights at Supremacy 3, some could argue that.

Home town favourite, Sam “the Striker” Brown, ignited the crowd when he entered the cage to battle against Australian fighter Jeff King. Brown ground and pounded his way into the second round, where he was able to secure a chokehold for the submission win.

In the second main event of the night, Pat “Luchidor” Crawley was suppose to take on Steve Warby but instead took on the significantly heavier Joe U’ele. But Pat didnt care about the extra weight, as he is a fine connoisseur of fat chicks, and he decided to make Joe his bitch.

After catching Joe with a bunch of powerful punching combinations, super ref Matt Te Paa was forced to jump in and stop the fight at three minutes and twenty three seconds.

In the final match of the evening, “Hot” Rod McSwain destroyed experienced fighter John Erskine, avenging a previous loss to the Canterburian.

Other results

Adam Calver Beat Daniel hooker by split decision.

Ali Clark won by Americana in Round 1 over Cam Steer.

Davor Matarugic won by points decision over Mark Scanlon in the Muay Thai fight.

Danny Pauu won against Julian Brown by rear naked choke in Round 2.

Byron Cowel by armbar submission 2.20mins in Round 2.

Ricky Campbells KO over Richie Barnett came in Round 2.

Kevin Bentley scored a controversial win over, Tank Abbot impersonator, Mark Creedy.

With expert ringside judges at the fights, Supremacy 3 was a sure fire hit. Looking forward to their next installment at the end of the year.
